The former building safety officer produced medical tests in the court that showed him suffering from penile dysfunction and low testosterone levels.

The maid had claimed that between June 1 and 7 in 2004, Sudarsanan took her home to take care for his child but ended up raping her 10 times in his apartment while his family was in India.

In a written judgment, a court here raised several inconsistencies in the maid's testimony and said it found 'important aspects of her evidence implausible'.

The judge also dismissed the maid's argument that she couldn't shout for help because she had had her tonsils removed in a surgery just before she went to Sudarsanan's flat.
